Advice wanted on selling price of my bike...CaptainDirt

Now before you guys jump all over, I already paid to have this listed in the classifieds, so this is not an attempt to be a cheapskate. I just want to know what I can expect to get for my bike. I was the guy who posted yesterday about how I don't really like road riding and I want a mountain bike. So, what would be a fair price without me getting ripped off?

And you'll find out exactly what it's worth. Or do a search on eBay for similar bikes and see what they sell for. The market rules.
Don't put that ad on Ebay until talking to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ....RanierBeer

I have a bike that's like the evil brother of yours.
Blue/Yellow color scheme, same Ksyrium, same fork, except I have Ultegra instead of Chorus.
About the price to ask for, I know you probably paid over $2500 into it, but even if it is new, you can get at most: $2000. The condition in picture $1600. Of course the bike deserve much better, however, so many people are selling their bikes right now, you are facing a whole lot of competition and cheap customers.
Good luck!

I almost went with the blue frame and ultegra. Do you use the same bars/stem/post/seat as me?

GT is bankrupt and Lotto switched to LS and Supergo has been blowing out the Lotto frames for $399. But strange things can happen on ebay. You never know.

Here is a recently-completed auction on a similar bike, except 60 mm/all DA:

This was bid up to $1226 in 34 bids, so lots of action, but the reserve was too high so it didn't sell (seller has relisted!).

I'd say based on this that you would be lucky to clear $1500 on yours.
