I go away & everything is crazy: planetary alignment ???Slipstream

April and May: all of the planets in our solar system are aligned in a single evening. The evening sky hosts the five inner worlds of Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn; early morning hosts visits by the outer worlds of Uranus, Neptune and Pluto.

Since the planets closest to the earth are lined up in a row with the sun and moon, cyclists should be particularly concerned that this increased gravitational stress on earth will affect their normal balance. Consider, all the weird stuff on this board lately: trolls; Blue Bicycle (porn or art); 50 foot female cyclists; Spirito interviewing Spirito; a near orgasmic self-confession; obsessive pre-occupation with women cyclists; grzy actually being funny; Ahisma's & 128's brilliant prose; harlett's & haiku's poetry; people having surgery; a sudden rash of knee problems; riding bikes to avoid 3rd divorce; the pure grace of an unknown angel.

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE

Revelation 16:8,9: "And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat..."

To counteract this danger, we cyclists are in a unique position to save the world:

The most famous unsolved problem in the history of mathematics is the Three Body Problem of celestial mechanics - i.e. three massive bodies orbiting each other. A tentative solution to the Ten Body Problem - the sun + nine planets is proffered for your consideration that if all cyclists were to spin at 120rpm precisely at midnight GMT on April 19th for one minute that the gyroscopic effects of the precession would create an anti-gravity device, emulating such processes that actually occur in our own solar system.

Proving once and for all that you can teach pigs to fly.

But, I guess everything is just normal for this board after all, planetary alignment or not.

I'm thinking everyone (okay many of us) are kinda giddy now that the weather has broken and we are once again free to fly.

Planetary alignment? I must admit it beats discussing the merits of the CC catalogues "heavenly bodies".

Cheers!

Life On Mars?

=============

It's a god-awful small affair

To the girl with the mousy hair

But her mummy is yelling "No"

And her daddy has told her to go

But her friend is nowhere to be seen

Now she walks through her sunken dream

To the seat with the clearest view

And she's hooked to the silver screen

But the film is a saddening bore

For she's lived it ten times or more

She could spit in the eyes of fools

As they ask her to focus on

Sailors fighting in the dance hall

Oh man! Look at those cavemen go

It's the freakiest show

Take a look at the Lawman

Beating up the wrong guy

Oh man! Wonder if he'll ever know

He's in the best selling show

Is there life on Mars?

It's on Amerika's tortured brow

That Mickey Mouse has grown up a cow

Now the workers have struck for fame

'Cause Lennon's on sale again

See the mice in their million hordes

From Ibeza to the Norfolk Broads

Rule Britannia is out of bounds

To my mother, my dog, and clowns

But the film is a saddening bore

'Cause I wrote it ten times or more

It's about to be writ again

As I ask you to focus on

Sailors fighting in the dance hall

Oh man! Look at those cavemen go

It's the freakiest show

Take a look at the Lawman

Beating up the wrong guy

Oh man! Wonder if he'll ever know

He's in the best selling show

Is there life on Mars?

I hear your theory
this planetary alignment
celestial stuff

if rings around Uranus,
should you see doctor?

come from another kind of heavenly body named Latitia, in which case doctor would be waste of money; would prefer to never wash that particular spot ever again

ah yes, celestial thoughts of Latitia. Je t'aime La Bicyclette Bleu. Est vous?
