Er... I think if you know anything about Cipo, you'd know that he probably quite likes it...

Besides, I doubt there's much that'd get him down at the moment considering his form...
But outrageous is not exactly the same as ugly. nmelviento

...that silly Zebra suit is starting to look better and better. Winning has a funny way of doing that.

Grazie, Mario!
Bad blood with Saeco?pmf1

I read some comments he made about Saeco letting him go because they thought he was too old. I bet they're regretting that move. I wonder how long he'll lead the World Cup points. Where has Zable been? least that is what you readGregory Taylor

The story (as it appears to be coming from Mario and his handlers) is that Saeco wouldn't renew his contract because he was "too old". This has lit a fire under him this year.

From Saeco's viewpoint, Cipo is in the twilight of his career, his 2001 season wasn't great, he asks for a lot of $$$, the last contract renewal was (if the press is to be believed) a veritable Italian opera, and (most tellingly) his presence on the team isn't enough anymore to guarantee an invite to the Tour de France. I can see why they let him go.

As for Zabel, it looks like he just hasn't had the luck/support in the first few races. Last year he was amazing...

At the risk of exposing myself to the homo-phobes endless "you're a homo" accusations due to their own sexual insecurity and psychological transference, I declare that the new Cippo outfit kicks a55. I wish I could wear that outfit around here without getting endangering myself to the anti-homo pick-up truck crowds.

Just putting on bike shorts endangers you with that crowd, so what is stopping you from adding zebra stripes to it?

My reply to your question is: would the regular looking gay guy be more likely to get his a55 kicked versus the very effeminate flaming pink scarf wearing gay guy?
Gay guys have better taste than that, in my exp. nmrideslikeagirl

looks like boys can be just as catty as the girls.

letseee...the guy is gorgeous, has butt muscles not found any any other human-being, sprints faster than any one on this board EVER will...AND gets paid to RIDE HIS BIKE. so let's make fun of...his clothes(which are free and he is paid to wear).

I second that one, Spinchick!theBreeze

At first I thought the kit looked ridiculous. But ya' know, it's starting to grow on me. There's just some people that can make ANYTHING look good. Especially on the top step of the podium.

Well, the man definitely has his own sense of style. But he is in good form now, so who cares?
