|Colorado Cyclist Catalog||Cartman|

So I keep the Colorado Cyclist catalog in the bathroom for some reading material while...well, you know. I noticed our Gal on the front is wearing apparel that is not for sale in the catalog. Are they dressing her in skimpier clothing than they sell to get us to look at the catalog?

...to find out what I could about the woman on the cover. She is married, lives in Colorado, and is a upper-level competitive mountain biker. Because CC sets up their catalogs months in advance, sometimes the clothing lines do not come through. Basically, she is dressed in Castelli clothing, but Castelli decided not to sell that line of clothing in the states.

Who friggin' cares about some model on a bike catalog. It served it's purpose and got you to read and remember their publication. i hope you're not thinking of starting a fan club, oh wait, this NG is the defacto fan club. Do you do this level of checking on the ladies found in Penthouse magazine also?
You guys are a bunch of virtual stalkers.

...are you not capable of presenting information in a non-accusatory, personal attack manner? If you recall, I posted earlier that I did not think she was all that hot. When you make people see others as a person and not a "trophy" or "sex object", then you can change people's perceptions of that person; this was the motivation behind the post. I do agree with ColnagoFE that things are getting a little sophmorish in regards to the superficial attention that this woman is getting.
There are always better ways to convey information that keeps an open dialog. For example, I could say that you are pathetic for buying a Serotta Legend and succumbing to all the "hype" that Serotta puts out about that bike. Or, I could simply ask you what was the motivation for your choice of a Serotta Legend. One method of responding tends to put one on the defensive while the other does not.
Maybe I should not have even responded to your post, BUT, I am grading some pretty poor papers...so perhaps this response shares a little bit of displacement.

Hey, you're the one that went to the trouble to call up CC and find out as much as possible about the gal, then post it here. And I'm the one that has the problem. Uh huh.
So, what was your real motivation for doing this? Did you get her sign or her bra size? What about sexual prefrences? Are her breasts natural? C'mon lets add some substance to the dialog - gimme something I can use, or at least fantasize about. Any pictures?
Wanna buy some?
You should be on the defensive for stooping this low.
BTW - I bought the Legend b/c it's the best frame I've riden to date. And it's all about the ride.
