In the latest Cycle Sport, there is a buyer's guide, which lists higher end Fondirest bikes at $7000-9000. It's odd that their frames cost twice as much as C-40s and Vortexes?

Any insight?

I just checked it out on Wrench Science, you can get a Top Carbon for around $6000 with full Record. I think they translated the British Pound to dollars wrong or something. It could be right. My understanding is that they are the most technically advanced frames on the market. People that I know that have tried the Fondriests after owning other high end bikes (Merckx, Colnagos, etc.) say that the Fondriest blows them away.
