I have to tiptoe out of the computer lab hiding behind equipment and make a mad dash for the door. Hoping I remember to swipe my badge through security before setting off the alarm.

Yeah, but Big Brother will note the time you swiped your badge to get out. Me, I just get up and walk out when I want. Of course the bargain in Silicon Valley is that we all put in way more than enough hours to cover for it. If they hassle us we just go work for someone else.

Working on a story that just hasn't been coming together...but, hey, an important subject just called and said we can do an interview today after all!
Don't know what I'll do on Monday when we REALLY have an interview, though.

Today is my flex day which I would have taken off, except am too busy trying to finish a project. But it's supposed to rain both Saturday and Sunday, so when a riding buddy suggested an afternoon ride, I figured it makes more sense to work over the weekend and take advantage of the dry day today. Only rode 29 miles, and the last 12 ended up being in the rain that came a bit early. Oh well, clean bike tomorrow before going to work. My hours aren't always flexible, but it's sure nice when they can be.
