I'm assuming yes. This past week I drove by a celeste vintage road bike laying on its side on the ground and chained to something. I figured it probably was nothing, and it was snowing, so I didn't stop and look. Now its haunting me. Will I ever know? And where did I see it? I've forgotten now.

This type of bike is available alot on a board called Classic Rendevouz sp? that is a mailing list, not really a board. Anyhow, see the gum type rubber hood covers? Some guy in Burbank, CA has built a set of molds and can reproduce the hoods which are no longer available from Campy and have the Campy "World" logo on them, the only difference is there is a second set of seams on the repros. He sold his first set on ebay for $43 and has mfged 15 more sets. Big stink was raised prior to the auction if a set of these repros were used on a restoration classic would it devalue the restoration project because they are produced in 2002 and have the second set of seams on them? These guys have entirely too much time on their hands. You might say the same of me for knowing about such minutia...They went on for days about the merits of center pull brakes.

Really though, some very cool old school bikes, 70's-80's, with the chrome lugs and stays, etc. to be seen and had through that site. Raleigh had some celeste blue color bikes in 71-72 or so.
claims to their purity and value is still being argued :-) NmSpirito

Mine is a lower quality Tiwanese tubing, though. Hoods and brakes are the same.
