|I had had a great ride today. 80 degrees, a 25 mile stretch with a good headwind, a 3 mile hill (around 1200ft), then a 25 mile section with a tailwind including a good fast trip back down the mountain.
Anyway, during the headwind part, I was cruzing along at a whopping 15 mph or so and saw a dead frog on the edge of the road. It was on its back, and no, I could not tell if it was male or female, not that I was looking. It wasn't flat or anything like it had been run over but it did have a little blood on its nose, leading me to believe it jumped into the side of a car. Why I do not know.
Which brings me to the point of this post. I have seen a lot of dead things. Rats, birds, rabbits, a bobcat, squirrels, a lot of opossums, snakes, turtles, and. . . What else? Today was the first time I have seen a frog. Out of all those dead animals, I have to say the frog looks the most like a cyclist; with its big legs and all.
I'm going to go sit on the couch like a frog, then I am going to hop into bed and go to sleep like a frog.

|...don't go laying on the side of the road with blood comin' out yer nose like a frog.
A. (I'm not as kooky green as Eugene, but methinks roadkill is a shame. Cars do suck.)
