Rear Ksyrium making chirping noise(4 posts)

Rear Ksyrium making chirping noisetad

Anybody experienced this or have any suggestions on how to fix? It only does it when there's weight on the wheel and when going slow. It's definitely coming from the wheel because nothing else is turning. Thanks.

Is everything tight? Like skewer, no brakes rubbing, pads adjusted correctly. Have you checked to see if hub bearing adjustment is tight or possibly too tight? Are you coasting when this happens? Could even be a cassette problem.

didn't say if coasting or pedaling.

Whenever my spoke magnet passes the sensor it chirps. Could be that I suppose. Funny I've had 4 or more Astrales and only one does it. It happens to be the only one on full carbon wheels and held with elec. tape.

I think it has something to do with the strength of the magnet or the sensor. My chirp loudly on a ST-200 but quietly on a Mity 3. But the chirp is inaudible while riding because of the wind. It'll be even hard to hear it from the rear wheel.
