Need info on Opus bikes.chskin

Hello

I was in my LBS today and they showed me an Opus Allegro. I had never heard of Opus www.opusbike.com before and decided to do a bit of research. The problem is that I can't find any reviews on their bikes, not on this site, not anywhere.

Does anyone have any experience with Opus and can anyone provide some links to reviews?

BTW the MSRP for the Allegro is $1900 Canadian dollars and the Vivace is $2400 CAD (both are with the CXP21 wheels).

Thanks in advance.

I saw those bikes last year when I started to look at a new road bike for myself. They seem nice enough, frames are buit in taiwan. The bike is light enough and some good parts all around. I could not find fault with the bikes and like you, I could also not find much info on them. One thing that is nice is you get a choice of wheels, and some components. I test rode one, I liked it but it wasn't anything spectacular, it does its job nicely.

Finally, I waited to this year and based on some recomandations, I went for a different bike.

I'm sorry I could not give more info than this. From personnal opinion, if they give you a good price, they seems good enough. You can also take a look at Argon18 wich is better known. Try comparing both and do a testride.
