my style points of the year go to you.

Not sure how to take that, but I'll thank yah. Pst, the glass's are safety glass's from work. Can't bring myself to spending money on something as frivolous as glass's. Picked up the shirt off Ebay maybe 10 bucks, when it's 30's and below need the long sleeves, and long johns, and, and,. And of course doesn't matter what the temp. need that Campy. Actually got everything from Ebay.
I guess beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder, or rider. Hmm maybe those are my words of wisdom.
Really though this cross thing is great. I don't think I would last pedalin my rear off down cellar. You want a real work out? Try pedaling through 4 or 5 inch's of sand for 50 or a 100 feet. I've only fallen over twice so far.

is the outer smaller than normal?

oh, i actually meant it as a compliment - i really think its a cool pic. the jersey is from the same period as the frame which i reckon is top class. and from the pics you had posted i see a lot of thought and time went into that bike- and there isnt many like them left. over time it'll be worth a lot more.

thumbs up from me. ;-)

Thanks. The outer chain ring is a 48 tooth T/A. Keeping with the cross thing.
does it work well with the record cranks?Spirito di Finocchio

only asking 'coz i am confused with all the info regarding different ramps/pins for the campy record 4 arm outer and the chorus 5 arm outer. do TA make rings that work with either?

a smaller outer ring make sense even if not used for cross.

thanks

It works fine. I recognise no diference shifting between this set up and with the Campy 53 tooth. This ring was a Campy specific replacement of which they make an abundance. I wanted to say I really enjoyed that link to the older pictures. I should have posted to that thread but I didn't.
cool thanks for the info (NM)Spirito di Finocchio

Hey mackgoo, I live in mass (weymouth) that wall in the background looks very familar, of course it being New England it could be one of 10,000 stone walls. Blue hills ?

Nope, I live in Plymouth. Just one of many, as you say, here in Plymouth.
I grew up in Braintree, where in Weymouth?

I live by the old "Paperama"(off Pleasant st) which is now some storage place. Grew up in Marshfield, moved to Weymouth when I got maried, I head south along the water for longer rides into Plymouth,Plympton,Halifax...when the weather gets better.
Are you a member of MBRC ? I just joined this year - to get some group riding in when I can.
Do you ride for endurance or racing ?
