Who's going to be at the Boulder CU / Stazio collegiate crit on Saturday?

Yes, I'm bored, and merely attempting to postpone the inevitable. It's snowing, and I'm due to get on the trainer for some fabulous VO2 max intervals (hurl). After that, I get to go to my McJob for a few hours.

It seems there are quite a few Front Range RBR posters here, so I'm merely curious to see who plans to attend. I've already made arrangements to meet up with a couple of youall afterwards.

There is a small chance that I will put in a cameo appearance.

It is yet to be determined whether I will have to work on Saturday or not, and whether said work involves going to Denver or not.
Hope to see you therelonefrontranger

If you manage to make the connection, will you stop by and say hi to the bikes you've still got hanging in Terry's garage!

Seriously, it'll be good to meet some of the RBR'ers there. And I've heard so much about you from the LVC guys!

Here's to getting my a$$ kicked in the first crit of the season, on a course I don't like very much, in what promises to be a pretty large and frantic field.

Well, it's 8pm on Friday,TJeanloz

And I'm at work. And it doesn't look like I'm going home for a long time, let alone to Denver.

Maybe next weekend...

I might be there. I will be on crutches and rather immobile. IOW, you can't miss me.

I'll plan on swinging by on the bike if the weather cooperates. Not sure what time though, have to make up some sleep. 2 weeks, 140+ hours, 7 days of that on the road, no days off, makes John a tired person.

Are you racing Beth?

And the forecast is for incredibly nice weather. That means it ought to be a nice, big squirrelly field. I'm pack fodder for this one - my real focus is on the Boulder-Roubaix next Sunday.

Hope to see you out there! Will you join in the fray, or merely watch as the rest of us flail around in typical early-season lack of group mojo?
Oof, 9:30 start time. . .js5280

I'll have to see if I can make at that time. I am just over an hour's bike ride outside of Boulder. Might just have to drive down or catch up some other day. I would like to watch the crits though.

I haven't raced before but someday I might consider it. I ride for fun, but if you do that enough, then you can be competitive to some degree. Not sure I'd want to do a crit on my Zeppelin, too expensive to beat up, it's my distance bike. Great excuse to buy a race bike though :-) Hmm, that would make five, is that so wrong? ;-)
Stazio ballpark, I'll be there around 8 (nm)lonefrontranger

Yep, I really dislike the course also. I'll be in Boulder with my team checking out the Roubaix course at 10 so maybe I'll try to swing by early cheer you on.

I'm definitely skipping the ACA Stazio crit for the reasons you mentioned, squirrley pack in the first race/crit of the year on a course I dislike. Maybe I'll see you at the Roubaix.

Who do you ride for?
