Can a hard bike case be too small?chopper

All,

I'm considering buying a hard bike case for when I fly with my bike. Question: I have a 62cm frame, should I be concerned about my bike not fitting in the case?

Cheers

i wouldnt trust a retailers opinion unless they will guarantee a refund if it doesn't work out.

check with the manufacturers as well. removing your right crank to get it to fit can be an option if its a close call and you dont mind a bit of spanner work. length is usually fine. look for the best wheel cover option as this is what scratches your frame.

i would rather try a tight fit a better case than use a bigger case thats not as tough or well made.
which one...?ColnagoFE

I have a Performance case and I can get my 62cm Colnago inside--just barely. Gotta take off stem and bars as well as seatpost, pedals, but otherwise it fits OK.
