Okay, I'll admit I'm too young to know who she is...but at least I'm old enough to appreciate that Nina/"99 Luft Balloons" 'do that she's sporting!

I wonder if she's gotten around to putting some tape on those bars yet.
Here is your info on Carol Addyspookyload

Her handlebars are wrapped with plastic tape used before the padded stuff came out in the late Eighties.

Notice how strong she looks from riding such heavy equipment?

I noticed! Fortunately, my wife didn't notice me noticing.

Thanks for the tape edu-ma-cation. I was probably still riding my Huffy Santa Fe back then...all 2,000 pounds of it.

I've been cycling since the early 70's and I've never heard of her, but back in those days the world was a smaller place.

Benotto tape was used up into the early 90's. I was watching a tape of the '91 TDF and one team was using the tape on their bars.
Carol and Benottochar

Still using Benotto tape on all my bikes, but haven't seen Carol since that poster ad in the mid-late 80's in Winning, Bicycle Guide and Cyclist. Going to have break out the VCR Tapes now, think i have an old ESPN recording of her going up against Connie Paraskevin [sp?] Young up at the Washington velodrome.
she is hotcolker

No joke. Benotto handlebar tape is a fetish. Everytime I touch that firm, shiny, skin-like surface, I think of her and Rebecca Twigg! Where can I get Benotto tape? Silver or white is my favorite color.
you are perverted...Spirito di Finocchio
