Our swim team used to play this game - see who could consume the highest dollar amount of food at McDonald's. You have to get really creative to go over the $10 mark.

Including a maximum of one beverage, the logical route was to have two grilled chicken sandwiches (expensive and lighter than other offerings) and two fillets of fish. Along with an XL Coke that could put you at about $11.50. There was a gentleman's agreement that drinking Diet Soda was bad form.

We got the idea from a newspaper article reporting that William "The Fridge" Perry had set the record for this achievement at $22 worth.

I really miss the days when gaining weight was next to impossible.

he lives about 45 minutes from me in aiken, sc. he has a brick laying business with his father in law. i saw him about a year ago at a horse race in aiken and he was f'ing huge! he is fat as a house, but he is also just a physically large human being! i think it's probably same to assume that he's going 500+!

Re "the days when gaining weight was next to impossible": I came across an old training log the other day that included some nutrition notes when I was trying to get up to 200 pounds to run in the heavyweight class in a local half-marathon. I was 6'4" and stuck at about 195, running 70-90 miles a week, but they had some great prizes in the over 200-pound division.
ONE DAY'S intake included eggs benedict for breakfast, two quarter-pounders with large fries and a milkshake for lunch and an unrecorded dinner at a Reno casino with an all-you-can-eat buffet, where I'm sure I did substantial damage (not the things I'd eat today, of course, but that was 25 years ago). I pigged like this for a couple of weeks, managed to get to 203 with a belly full o' breakfast--and finished second in the class after stopping to hurl. Today I struggle to get DOWN to 220...youth, as they say, is wasted on the young.

McDonald's and Performance EnhancementSingleThreaded

I would have to agree with the McDonald's suggestion. Five double cheeseburgers @ 99 cents and chase it with the Chicken Parmagian Value Meal. Right around 10 bucks.

Although, can all this be considered performance enhancing food if it helps me descend faster than my competitors. Anyone have the link to the list of banned performance enhancers?
Why not the nearest Chinese restaurant?DINOSAUR
