or

b) donna summer, debbie harry, kate bush (all in their heydey)

its no trick or something stupid

I can see the 1st list, but pairing donna summer with kate bush and deb harry? seems that donna is out of place there.

than Kate Bush (whose falsetto meanderings I find oppressive)under a musical analysis, but it might be a physical or age comparison. How about Cocteau Twins instead of Bush? anyday......

If you choose A, you're a kid, you hook up and rave on ecstasy. If B, you're over the hill, drink, smoke a joint at a party, and think about your investments.
LOL.....well there was a little trick...Spirito di Finocchio

no if gregg chose group B then maybe he would understand the reasoning behind my request for a new forum for classic and retro bikes and components that would have been made up until debbie harry, kate bush and donna summer were in their glory days.

after that chrome died, everything went index shifting and the way a bike looked went in a different direction. sure some of them were crap but i think its important to keep some of the older bikes going and ridden.

im not one against modernity, but i no longer race and am getting more of a kick from bikes of the era that i started in and im sure i am not the only one.

i would think a forum for older stuff and sharing advice and insight about it all would be interesting and good for the site. there are a lot of enthusiasts but all segregated by make or type on hundreds of smaller email listings and i feel that having a general allround classic bike section is whats needed and could easily be done here and very well as this site has an advantage over most others in that you can post pics. it would also draw new users to these pages and there are enough older stuff resellers and merchants to sponsor the pages if that is of importance.

some of us ride "older style" bikes, most of us find it of interest, but a retro forum would be a lot of fun and informative. Lets keep a little history (even if recent) alive. after all group A is hot and fresh but group B is undeniably classic, have a lot of "mystique"and of an era that to me hasnt faded with time but has made those original divas even more intriguing and bring more of a smile to my face.

c'mon gregg ....give it a try. our own little studio 54 bike section

Good Trader-Bad Trader posts.

If you'll look at the robust discussion yesterday about downtube index shifting, you'll see there's a talkative contingent here that would love their own grouchy board, and use it.
and it would awaken the slumbering classifieds as well NMSpirito di Finocchio
