|Is anyone else here using Continental Grand Prix Supersonics? Have one on the rear and trashed it today after getting only 600 miles or so out of it. Not sure if I ran over a piece of glass or what it was, but there is a very large hole in it now and I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem.|

|I've never used the Supersonics, but everything I recall reading about them indicates that they're really a race-only tire and not a training tire. I suppose they'd hold up well enough on a (theoretically) clean race course.

Ralphie's thought process is a little like mine right before a bonk. You know that feeling? :)

|I think those are racing-only tires, which means they're not going to go very far. Even if they weren't, though, if you ran over a piece of glass or something similar, you can't complain about the tire. They're not warranteed against stuff like that.|

|To get 600 miles out of these tires is amazing. I have known guys who have got less than 100. Consider yourself lucky this time and switch to a different tire.|| |
