New to club rides - please help me decipher!sodade

I assume that the last bit is the mileage, but I can't figure out the rest. Can someone give me a rosetta stone for these ride ratings?
( 2/3-B/S 20-30) [the one I am interested in]
(2/3-M/B-15 to 50+)
(3/4/5-B/S-30-50)
(2/3 – L/M/B)
(2/3-M/B-30+)
(2/3-L/M/B-10 to 30)

Thanks in advance!

All of the club web sites and newsletters I have seen have the codes 'decoded' somewhere in the same publication, so that is where I would look for really accurate info.

my guess:

2/3 refers to the expected speed
B/S to the terrain
20-30 to the distance

but I am more likely to be wrong than right.

Here's the way it was explained to me:
KEY: pace/terrain/mileage
EXAMPLE: C/2/30
EXPLANATION: C pace, 2 terrain, 30 miles

Pace description:
A = 20+ mph. No stops riders must be self sufficient
B = 15-20 mph. Few stops & self sufficient
C = 12-15 mph. Occassional stops & re-grouping
D = 8-12 mph. Frequent stops, no-one left behind

Terrain description:
1 = Flat
2 = Minor hills
3 = Moderate hills
4 = Long climbs or very steep

Hope this helps.
