|I'm considering buying a carbon frame. I'm having trouble finding any spec info on some of the LOOK frames :KG241,and the 251. The LOOK website only has info on the 361 and 381i.
Any of you guys have any insight in the differences between these frames. Also any insight in general on a carbon frame and any other sub 1000$ carbon frame/fork options I might want to consider. Thanks!

|This look website lists some info on the 241, but I couldn't get the geometry table to come up. These lower end models should have the same geometry as the more expensive 281. Naturally, they weigh more than the higher priced models.

|The 241 was produced up until 2001. The 251 was replaced by the 261(now 361). I have the geometry specs on both the 241 and the 251. What size are you interested in?|

|I built a 241 for my niece and thought it was a pretty decent frame. However, if you are a big masher I'd suggest the newer 361 as the rear triangle is quite a bit beefier.
Resale value on the 241 will be low also but if you're a "spinner" and don't care about resale then this would be a great budget frame.
I'm trying to find a 51cm 241 for a friend and NOT having any luck. :(

|Thanks for the good info guys! John, there are some 241 frames/forks being sold via the UK at what initially appears ($450US) to be some good pricing. Try Totalcycling.com or Parker-international.com.|
|Alas, no 51cm 241's at either shop. :( .............. nm||CT1|
