|...strengthen my knees so I wouldn't have to slam down on the cranks to power my way up hills? I use only 2 chainrings in the front, I couldn't tell you the size of them right off the top of my head though. I bike every day, so my leg power gets me up most hills staying seated. But when I get home or get to the top of the hill, it feels like I've abused my knees. I'm only 15 years old, and I don't want to switch down to smaller chainrings, but then again I dont want to ruin my knees for the rest of my life. I realize that there isn't much muscle or anything around the knees, but there has to be some way to strengthen them, isn't there? Thanks in advance.
