Biking in Albuquerqueamerigooner

I'm going to be in Albuquerque at the end of March for spring break. Could anyone from around that area recommend any good rides. I'm from Minnesota so I'm getting excited to ride on some mountains and ride in some good weather. Also where could I rent a decent road bike in Albuquerque? Any help would be great.

check out the New Mexico Touring Society web page for a detailed description of the local rides. http://www.swcp.com/~russells/nmts/

there are lots of options from decent bike lanes in town to about 75 miles of bike paths along the river and through the middle of the city. You can also head out of town along I40 and ride in the Sandia Mountains. The ride to the crest is about 14 miles long and goes to 11k feet elevation.
