Another dreaded shaving question.BubbaSparks

I know everyone hates shaving questions, so i apologize in advance.

Does anyone use an electric razor on their legs? i was never able to use one on my face, just didn't work well for me. I've noticed recently, some new "hitech" electric razors. Are any of these worth a flip? For face or legs???

I use an electric razor on my face (Braun) and on my legs (Remington). It's easier if you shave more often, not letting the hair get much longer than stubble. Also, for the legs, you can sit by the window and see the hairs in sunlight, which really lights them up! Works for me, and no nicks!

Have you always used electric for face? It really irritated mine. Maybe the new ones won't be so bad. I think I'm gonna at least try one for the legs. If it works ok, the time savings would be enormous.

shaving with an electric razor is a good way to get rid of the bulk hair, but make sure you go back over your legs with a razor. Most of the benefits of leg shaving come from shaving off all the dead layers of skin and increasing the sensitivity of the muscles by bringing your nerve endings closer to the skin surface. This is why swimmers shave and why any good coach discourages the use of Nair and electric razors. I use a $10 electric clipper, the same one i use for my head, to get rid of the bushy stuff, and then hack at it with a few razors(mach 3 of course).
