|NW's tend to run about a half a size large and are wide in the toe box area. You should try some on to make sure they fit. Mine are going on four seasons, but I don't know if they will make it through the summer. Good shoes. Sidi run too narrow for my foot. I think the difference would be the width...|

|I just got some Northwave evolutions and they fit my foot great. I have some Sidi Dominators for my mtn bike and the biggest difference is width. For my foot the Northwaves fit nicer.
Try before you buy. Or find bitchin deals and hope for the best ($90 Evolutions and $50 Dominators, both fit and look beautiful)

|I used to run Sidi Techno's but I just got my Evo's and raced a TT over the weekend in them - they're great.
As mentioned in the above posts, Evo's run approx. 1/2 bigger and they are wide (which fit my fat feet fine). They hold my feet really secure and snug. However, I wear a 40 in Sidi and 40 in the Evo's as well - go figure. Like any shoes, try before you buy.
I got mine on ebay for a good price. Love 'em so far!

|Funny question. I've worn Sidi's for the last 16-17 years and only this year did I purchase my first new shoes which were NW evolutions. In my opinion SIDI's don;t fit like they used to and I think the quality has diminished. I tried on so many SIDI's when I was looking for shoes as I was a creature of habit and wanted to stick with SIDI's. I experienced irregular sizing and short ,cramped fitiings, and unless my feet have changed, I have narrow feet. I finally gave up on SIDI's and looked into Carnac's and NW. My evolution fit great, are very stiff and all around excellant shoes. They do seem to be alttle bigger in the shoe box which I don't think is a bad thing. After long hours or ridind, and in the heat, I think your feet tend to swell and bloat so I welcome a little added room. Having said that, i do not beleive they are so roomy that you swim around or get any washed out feeling. Lastly, I really liked the Carnac Eclipse? that I tried on and would rec'd them as well.|| |
