lemond ti frame vs, cannondale (3 posts)
| lemond ti frame vs, cannondale | Jbajel Feb 28, 2002 11:45 AM | | I got offered a great deal on a 2001 lemond victoire titanium bike with ultegra gruppo and vector comp wheel set. I can get it for the same price as a cannondale with mixed 105/tiagra gruppo? I like to ride long, but I am nervous about the lemond frame. No road test possible now because of all the snow.
Any help in making this huge investment is appreciated. |
| I can say | The General Feb 28, 2002 12:20 PM | | the Lemond is one of the most comfortable bikes that I have road. I tried everything I could find before buying mine and for the long rides I do it feels good. But the fit is also there where it wasn't on the Cannonadale. So make sure it fits you well, maybe try it on a trainer for a 1hr or so.
I can say I haven't been sorry for buying it,
Good luck,

I haven't ridden a Lemond ti frame, but a ti frame with Ultegra is simply a better investment. Even if you don't like it you could probably sell it for $1200. |
