Best would have to be riding the Kokopelli Trail on my mountain bike. That was a really fun adventure, mostly because it was such a fun group of people and the scenery and riding were spectacular.

On a road bike, I will always remember cresting Monitor Pass the first time on the Death Ride. That's when I knew it was for real. The view of the valley below is awe-inspiring, not the least because you can see almost the entire road you have to climb back up!

Worst experience was when I was 10 or so. I parked my bike and went down to play in the wash. When I came back up, the bike was gone. There is nothing like that feeling. Half feeling stupid, and half feeling pissed off. It still hurts today. I hope the punk who took it enjoyed it.

best: my first race on my brand new Giant TCR ... can't stop raving about it. 'twas my first race ever. was doing pretty well.
worst: the point in that race when I crashed. see my post under 'best bike for under $2k' on the components forum.
ouch.
still, I shouldn't complain, since others have been worse injured.
Elephantino, if you're reading this, I still wish you well... :)

I haven't had a worst day on the bike yet, I would say it would have to be something that would make me want to quite riding which has not happened. Best day of most recent memory was day 1 of the 2000 Cycle North Carolina which I consider the best one day on a bike for me ever. It was sort of like fulfilling a quest, to ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway, even if it was only about 5 miles or so if that.

My worst experience? Catching a huge bumble bee in the front of my jersey while coming off Sugarloaf Mountain in Mongomery County, Maryland. The bee was trying to get out, and I needed both hands on the brakes. My mistake was taking one hand off. I went into the woods at the switchback, fracturing my collarbone, denting the top tube on my nice new bike, and stung on the chest. The ride home was 45 miles, 2 hours of hills, and I'm still amazed I made it.

My best experience on a bike was the trip I took from DC to the Eastern Shore of Maryland, a glorious week in the country, far from the madding crowd, greatly enhanced by not having a car. I swear I'll do a trip like that again when I have the time and money.

My worst must have been when i salubrated my 20:th birthday and we were gonna bike to a party after have been frinking a bit, me and a friend collided and i got unconcheus. woke up at the hospital with a broken collorboan and real bad wounds in my head and face. Still can remeber my mom saying "- you may not be able to bike any more this season" -gahh!! fortunately i was up and riding in a week.

Best was probally when i was in Italy on training camp last year. Don't think i can point out one day, the wehole trip was amazing. maybe the best was the day wee went to Pisa, sunny all day, a long nice ride and we were all in good mood.

Best experience was during a race. I was racing against another rider for about the entire race. He would smoke me on the uphill and I would pass him going down. On the last lap to cross the finish you had to go uphill but I managed to hold him off as I beat him across the line. I still finished in the middle of the pack but it didn't matter.

Worst was a x-country ride after work. I was riding alone and about 1 hour into the ride (the furthest distance from the car) I went over the bars and landed on a rock. I didn't know it at the time but I broke the radial head off my right fore arm at the elbow. The most pain I've ever been in. I had to ride back using the front brake with my right arm hanging at my side. I crashed again on the next downhill and I got a flat. I had to fix the flat with one arm and my legs to hold the wheel. Made it to the car an eternity later and I had to take apart the bike with one arm to get it in the trunk. The finale was driving home and shifting (yes the car has a stick) with my left hand. When I pulled in the driveway and got out I threw up on the hood of the car. To add one final bit of misery, there's nothing worse than wearing sweat soaked spandex to an emergency room.

finishing my first century in 1983 after only riding for 3 months...there are 2 worst exp...when i was 12 yrs old i had a jc higgins with all the chrome in the world (popular in 1962) with a built in light in the frame and a basket on the front for my papaer route, i was looking down at the noise on the chain guard and then i ran into the back of a parked car, that really hurt...then back this june someone broke into my apt and stole my derosa and a specialized mtn bike...

worst: bee stings. first one (mtb ride) i discovered my allergy, and was luckily close to an ER. on the second one (road), i was carrying an epi self-injector, and called my wife for pickup and delivery to the ER. no fun carrying those shots around all the time now, but it's better than asphyxiating 60 miles from home.

best: rain rides in warm weather. climbing--i have to go out of town to climb anything larger than a hill.

My worst experience is when I crashed and ended up in the hospital for seven days with five fractured ribs and a concussion.

My best experience is still out there on the horizon, as my rides keep on getting better and better.

Worst - Hitting a parked car when the driver opened his door. Had some nasty road rash and a concussion.
Best - There are too many to count. That's why I ride.
Hmmm....Leisure

Best: They just get better as I do. Jumping everything on Porcupine Rim in Moab last summer was waayyy cool. I've had plenty of grand experiences, but everytime around it seems just that little bit better.

Worst: During college some mom in an SUV pulled right up next to me and swerved at me. I thought I was dead. She then proceeded to yell at me that it was my fault for being there.
