|Check out velo-club-roubaix.org's ride maps - very detailed routes inked over street maps, pdf format.
For somebody who's always in a rut with the same routes (like me), this is a valuable resource.
BTW - if anybody knows a good east-west road in northern cook county, please shout it out.

|you want to go; however, I have taken Glenview Road a few times west with good success. I live in the city and will ride up the North Branch trail to the Botanical Gardens.
I also work part time at REI in Niles and I use Glenview Road to cut west from the North Branch Trail to get to work.

|but doesn't get far enough West. I can take Church (which becomes Beckwith) to get about as far as that REI, but I'd like to be able to go about 5 miles further. Church peters out at 294 and I don't know any good routes beyond that.
Incidentally, you might try taking the North Branch Trail to Church, and riding west to REI on that street. It would save you a few miles over going up to Glenview and doubling back South.
|Naperville Bicycle Club Cue Sheets||MisJG|

|While maybe not as nice as a .pdf map with the routes in colour, the Naperville Bicycle Club (NBC) site has cue sheets for some routes in and around the Naperville area. Barrinton is a bit too far north for me! |
Go to "Rides" and click on "Cue Sheets"

|Hey MisJG - were do you ride? I ride in the Willowbrook/Downers Grove/Hinsdale/Darien area. If this is convenient for you and you're looking for a riding/training partner, let me know.|
