Of course, "apostrophe" also refers to the direct address of an absent or imaginary person or of a personified abstraction.
Always carry an English major in your seat pack for emergency situations!

But do you really think the poster believes an apostrophe should be used for a plural. No, he was probaby just typing and his brain/finger connection typed the passage incorrrectly (I hope). We all knew that he wasnt ( I gave him my apostrophe and now the world is back in balance) talking about the evens of his leg.

Here in Denver where I see signs like "burrito's for sale" and "free kitten's" I assume that many folks who should no better have somehow lost this grammar rule. Even in stores, on flyers, and in newsletters! : )

But who knows what evil REALLY lurks in the hearts of men (and women).
