|Let's talk shoes. Are they the same?
Time? Sidi? Northwave? Shimano? Nike? Lake? Specialized? Carnac? Adidas? Catalog Brands? Others?
No references to the RBreviews, please.
Who makes em? Performance variables? Race v. Recreational? Performance Goals? Power transmission? Foot type? Adjustibility? Width? Heel pocket? Toe Box? Height? UP vs downstroke? Comfort? Insoles? Canting? Pronation/Supination? Ramp Angle? Foot Type? Ability? Stroke type? Sprint v. Roadie?
What's happening? My feet are the only thing 'connected' to the bike. This is not a pedal discussion.
I'm clueless, but intrigued. Athletic, quasi gearhead - bang for the buck kinda guy.
I can dice in a Lange, and slog in a Dalbello. Capiche?

|They fit me well and last a long time. I like shoes with laces better than velcro straps. I also like a tight fit.
I get rid of my shoes when they stretch to the point that my heel lifts out the back of the shoe. I have never weighed shoes, but it is one of the items that is probably most worth shaving grams.
I've seen enough people on charity rides looking for little screws for their Sidi buckles to be skeptical of the design. We wound up using duct tape around their shoes.
