...one of those European things. The bike is a Derny, I believe that the are out of production. I think that there is only one Derny race left, somewhere in Amsterdam.
And it's a lot hardy than it looks.McAndrus

A year or so ago, Cycle Sport had an article on Derny racing. It is supposedly a very, very hard sport. The cyclists maintain speeds much higher than they would in a regular road race. Even in the motorcycle's draft the effort is intense. Museeuw road one and made a comment that it was the hardest thing he'd ever done.
