Having problems with the screw that holds the buckle. I have cracked one set of these by barely and I mean barely over torquing the screw. What's the trick from keeping the screw from loosing.. .loctite(grade B, Or purple)? All I can say is the buckle cracks really easy......Help

I have changed these with no screw problems. Sidi has two microbuckles. I will check tonight, but it might be that one has a shorter screw. My shoes came with the side "press and release" buckles. The first replacement buckle they sent came with a top push lever. The straps for the two styles are definitely not the same.

If you use the locktite just get a TINY amount on the screw ONLY!!! Mine did not die right away but on a ride... Brand new shoes too. I did my MTB shoes at the same time... four new buckles later I was good to go...
