|If I were to buy Campy components in Europe and have the shipped to the States, are there any conditions that Campagnolo puts upon the warranty and service of the components?|

|Campy won't accept warranty returns from individuals. All warranty claims must be handled through an authorized dealer. The warranty also states that you must have a copy of the purchase receipt.
If you have a good relationship with your LBS, they could return parts to Campy (in the U.S.), but they won't be happy about it. Even if you package the parts and pay for the shipping, they're providing a free service.
I returned ergo levers to Bicycle World in California for warranty service last year. The whole process took 3 months. I purchased and installed new levers to keep my only bike in service while the repair was being done. I knew it wouldn't be quick. Now I have a spare pair of Record ergo levers.
