i was just on supergo and saw that they had the '01 gt zr4.0 for 599 bucks. it said it had shim 105 drivetrain. i'm looking to buy my first bike, and all the other bikes i've looked at for that or a couple of hundred more don't have 105 drivetrains. is there something wrong with this bike, or how does it compare to others. like i said this is my first bike. any thoughts are appreciated.

Supergo bought out a lot of the Schwinn/GT stock when it declared bankruptcy and was later sold to Pacific. There are nothing wrong with the bike.

However, if you're looking for your first bike, don't rule out buying used. Use "buy used" in the RBR search field and you'll find numerous posts on the subject, many by me.

The only thing that is 105 on that bike is the Rear Derailleur.
