Nike ride tomorrow in Portland, OR -- anyone doing it?hrv

The course is an 11 mile loop around Hagg Lake, up to about 6 laps, and is a fundraiser and you get to ride with 'the pros', including some members of USPS, who I'm sure will be at the front and I'll be 90 - 120 people behind them. Anyone doing this? What's the terrain like? Since my first road race will be there in about two weeks, I figure this might be a mellow way to pre-ride the course. The largest group I have ridden in so far was about 12 riders so it should be interesting.

I am plannig to do the Cherry Pie on Sunday just north of Eugene.

I am doing the Banana Belt race's, #1 & #3. Are they the ones you are referring to for around Hagg Lake.

Are you going tot he conference as well or just doing the ride?

Yes, the Banana Belt races. I've never raced so I'll try the first one and go from there. Have you ridden around Hagg lake before? Just in case I don't make it to the ride tomorrow, any major hills?

Not doing the conference, just the ride.

My club that I'll be riding with is Disco Velo. Not sure of the colors yet. First actual event is the Jack Frost TT in Vancouver on Feb. 24. See you at the races!
