Is it a good idea to be straight and ride this ride?

I know lots of people who have done this ride. I'd guess most people on it are not gay.

Even if there were a gay majority there, I'm sure they'd be great to ride with. Don't be a homophobe.

I'd like to do this ride, but its so damn expensive. I think you have to raise almost $2000 to go these days. Plus, its run by a for profit group. The guys that organize and run this thing make money on it. It does sound fun though, and I hear its well run.

Ditto. I rode it last year and agree on the previous assessment. Really fun, well run, sucks how much you have to raise, hate the for profit aspect but like the basic idea of the ride. Will probably do it again even though as purely riding goes it's not too hard--it was just that much fun.

LAF Ride for the Roses, $5000 for that gig. It was reasonable when $2500 to $3000 was the price, now for me anyway it is off the chart and the timing is bad. Ride in April, means you have xmas in the middle of the fundraiser season.
COME ON!! should I support Cancer research when I dont have itxx

Hey, the MAJORITY of people who contract AIDS today are NOT gay. In fact, women are getting aids more often than men these days. Does that mean that only heterosexual women should join the aids ride???
I had better ride the AIDS rideskilsaw

...or DAC will call me a homophobic jerk. I had better sign up for the local breast cancer run, too, or else I'll be a misogynist homophobe.
