Well my valentine got plane tickets to Seattle for the bike expo on March 2nd. I had never expected this! She even has the damm bus schedules and everything. We live in The Bay area of CA and she has never been on a plane, she is more tenacious that Phil woods oil when it comes to gift giving! Is anyone else going or have been?

I have been and volunteered in the years past... To be quite honest there is not all that much too it...it is a pretty small show, but it is still a lot of fun. This year will be cooler than most with andy hampsten appearing. Make sure that you check out the lectures, they are the most interesting. Most importantly, enjoy seattle, the best city in this great land!!! Send me a line if you have any questions about what to do while you are here. mixinbeatz @ rocketmail.com

As the post below says, the visit to Seattle can be more fun than the expo itself. Definitely see Hampsten.
If you have not already, check out info on the expo at www.cascade.org
You can also look up local club rides at the site if you are looking to ride while you're here. Call up "Blazing Saddles" for decent bike rentals downtown.
Be ready for rain, but you might be lucky!
