Anyone have experiences with this? The Mtn crew seems to be very mixed about it.

I picked one up on a try/buy deal, $40 if I like it, for my road bike, was thinking of trying it on the mtn bike also, but like to see opinions as well.

Neither bike is rideable yet so I have just sat on it, no miles yet.
Also, is the saddle (how can I put this), "Future-Child friendly"? ;)

Thanks
Matt

it's no worse than any other saddle for future child-friendliness. Think about it, you sit on your sit bones on the top of the saddle. All other saddles have more "beef" to them but you still only cover a small sopt when you sit on them. All that material that wraps down and around under the main part of the seat you never get anywhere near except for rubbing against it.

I have one on my road bike and love it. I got one because I tried one out on a friends MTB and thought it was great. I don't find it uncomfortable in the least. In fact, I like how it is a little flatter across the main section than some saddles. I don't like the ones that curve over when you look at them from behind.
not for MTB. hard a a friggin brick, but if it fits is OK. (nm)DUG
