|I'm new to the road. I'm looking for the right bike, and feeling overwhelmed by all the choices. I know that I want quality components on a bike that's going to last.
I've discovered at the LBS's to get either Ultegra components on a Cannondale r2000si or Campy Centaur components on a Bianchi XL Boron it's going to cost around $2100. So would it be worth it to spend a little more and get a Litespeed from Colorado Cyclist (LBS's don't carry Litespeed)?

|Ordering a bike via internet or catalog can be quite a challenge. How in the world would you possibly know what size you need, not all sizes are universal, a 58cm bike from company X might not be the same as company Y. Why not test ride both your LBS bikes and pick which one feels and rides better. If both are equally good, then go with the one you like better (eye-pleasing, you'll be more inclined to ride).

|Above post is correct. You gotta ride 'em. BTW - I have a three year old Bianchi XL Boron w/Campy - great bike.|| |
