New Ultegra vs. Old UltegraDWridesGT

Can anyone tell me the difference between the newer Ultegra STI shifters (model 6510) and last years versions (models 6500 and 6501). I've heard that the newer 6510 model has big improvements and the "lever-rattle" problem of last year is now gone. Any thoughts, or comments......

I think they just redesigned the brake lever dust caps so they are like the types on Dura Ace in order to solve the rattling problem...I don't know if it worked or not..

The flight deck control buttons are one on each side instead of both on the right.
Funny you should ask. . .Mike P

My current ride has the the older Ultegra. Today I test rode a bike with the new Ultegra. I do not know what they will feel like after a few months on them but, to me, the new shifters seem more precise. The old ones seem to have more space between the moving parts, giving them a loose, rattley feel. I like the new better. They also look better.
