|I just have to post this. In the spring semester of last year my team's newsgroup kept getting these wierd posts from a student named Ming Kou who, as near as I could tell, wanted to ride his bike across the Arctic Circle. I never could tell if he was serious about it and forgot about him. That is until a few days ago when I saw a follow up post from him saying that he had rode his bike from the center of the Quad at the University of Illinois to China last fall (in a roundabout way, for the exact route check the link). What's more, he did the trip unsupported, on a Raliegh mountain bike, carrying everything he needed in bags and a small trailer attached to the rear of the bike. At the end of this post is a link to a site about the trip. I particularly recommend the "Photos and more information" link. I think this is quite an accomplishment that people should know about, check it out!

|talk about a cultural divide.
probably as exhausting and as contrary as ill. to china.
i suppose you could at least get some good food in china and im sure some would speak the same language unlike jersey.
