Shimano SPD-R 535 to ebay or not?(2 posts)

Shimano SPD-R 535 to ebay or not?mixinbeatz

I just got a new racing bike on pro-deal and it came with the shimano SPD-R 535 pedals. I have ridden Shimano spd style shoes on my mt bike for years and have been very happy with them. I can't find feedback on how these pedals work although I have heard some spd-r nightmares. Should I buy the SPD-R adapter for my sidis....??? I am concerned mainly about the functionality, float is not an issue, either is the weight.

FWIW, I have the Ultegra SPD-R pedals and I like them very much. Easier entry than SPD's. I've had Looks, SPD's and Speedplay pedals and these are my favorite so far. Try em and see if you like them before you condemn them to ebay.
