Hi,

Wondering what opinion/experience you may have with Cinelli frames, specifically the Nautilus (Foco) or Aliante (Altec2).

Thanks,
Dave

they are nice looking and i was thinking about getting the aluminum one...but,,they are expensive and the sizing is a bit long in the top tube for me and you can get an abici bike with starship tubing frame with ozoua (sp) pro fork for 9 hundred...thats what i just got and its a great ride..my only potential beef with it is that the chainstays arent bent and the cable guide hits the back of my foot slightly when i ride with my toes out..not really a problem though and i dont notice it often..check them out www.abici.ws ..the paint is really nice except there is there web site on the top tube..its not bad looking but i dont like it on principle.

i have the 200l black w yellow decal unica integrated hdst. ride is comfy but still stiff in the bottom bracket. maybe the machined seatstay attachment helps w the comfort, or its the tubing. the carve fork is point and shoot in the technical descents, but a bit heavy. the only complaints are the garish decals, and if i sit up no hands at speed the dreaded front-end oscillations start. this can happen on higher-end frames with no clues but it should get checked in a frame table. cinelli frames are actually very affordable if you shop around. columbus is the maker now btw, or owns the company. ital-tecno in niagra falls, ny has good prices but the phone guy is very scattered. check bicicletta web site also. oh yeah, the welds are very businesslike, nice. don't file that aluminium away, i say. later.
