ok i got the wheels figured out. They are shimano 5500 hubs with shimano 5500 rims. They have sixteen spokes so they are going to be light(well somewhat light ;). They come on a khs flite 1000 i am thinking of buying from a friend. He is selling it for 1,300 it is full ultegra/durace. And those wheels come on it. Good deal you think? Good wheels?
We'll see. Thanks fellas/ladies!

The Flite 1000 is a 7005 aluminum bike, right? I think it retailed for about $1,700 last year. If it's a one-year-old bike, $1,300 is about right, although the range for late-model Ultegra bikes on eBay is from $900-$1,200, approximately. (SuperGo is selling a new 2001 Schwinn with full Ultegra for $999).

I have nothing bad to say about KHS. I had one of their steel (Tange prestige) road bikes for 10 years, also with full Ultegra (then known as 600). Great bike.

FWIW,
Mike
FYI, Supergo has that bike for $1149. nmElefantino
