Found best road bike deal -> with your help > thanksroger

I have to admit after 5 years of mountain biking; I knew nothing about road bikes - except that I wanted one. I started reading road bike review and after about 6 months I learned everything I needed to know. Campy vs Shimano; Steel vs Aluminum vs Ti; forks, wheels, pedals. Thanks a lot. I found a Motobecane le Champion with a 2.7lb aluminum frame and full Shimano Ultegra for $1095. It was light (mine is under 19lbs) and sweet looking. Due to all the info I got on this site - I knew a great deal when I saw it. Thanks - {PS - I am using my ATB shoes - any good ideas on road shoes for SPD under $150? for wide feet?}
This Is SPAMBusted

1st, the bike is a total piece of sh%$. The only thing of value is the Ultegra, so you can buy that on its own. The frame is garbage and the site where you "got" it has SPAMMED this board in the past.
Save your money and buy a quality frame that will last because this POS won't unless you ride it once a week for a few miles. Better to buy a better used bike than this thing. For a little more buy the Cervelo, much better technology.
No, this Is SPAM.Ahimsa

I can not beleive your comments about a new road riders bike selection. How rude! Have you ever even seen or riden my bike? How do you know it wont last; Motobecane gives it a life-time warranty. The frame is quoted to weigh 2.7 lbs - what is wrong with what? There is no Cervelo dealer in my area; so I can not say that it is better since I have never seen one. But if it has the same components and quality frame for a good price I am sure it is fine too.
I am very happy with my bike and with most the advise on this message board; but your comments are completely uncalled for. Especially since I did not even mention the dealer I got the bike from. Maybe I should assume you are trying to sell the brand you mention. Is every person on here that mentions a bike brand a salesman for that brand?
please think before you speak -

A lot of people talk about Litespeed and Colnago. Are they spammers?

just wankers!

no matter what you have enjoy it and be proud.

i sometimes wonder if a large proportion of guys who post about their expensive frames and feel superior are just lacking in their love muscle department.

i for one ride a HUFFY.... ;-)

I wouldn't think your precious a$$ would never mount such a POS frame. It is not Italian enough for you. Not "pure" and "authentic" enough for you.
Stay stoked dude!!!!
yep Lazie, I was going to send DB wallpaper....IAmtnbikr

of my Raleigh R700. You know, the one I got at "cheapyellowbikes.com" according to DB........But I was too busy with my chrome polish.......just enjoy what you ride, and screw the idiots who bash. The rider is more important than the bike anyhow. Technology, weight, looks, they won't make up for a weakDOG rider.......
No thanks, I'm happy with my Airborne!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(nm)Baron Von Zeppelin
