Just a quick note to let others know that I had a positive experience with Velomax's customer support relating to warranty work. My Velomax Orion wheel (rear) developed sort of a "pop/creak" sound. At first, I thought the noise was coming from my seat rails as the pop/creak would sometimes occur when I was in the saddle, but going hard. However, when the noise continued when I was out of the saddle, I knew it was something else. Riding down this one road early one morning made me think it was the rear wheel. So, I put my wife's rear wheel on my bike and the pop/creak went away. I called Velomax and they gave me an RA# and told me to send it back to them. I sent the wheel out USPS on Saturday and yesterday I got a call from one of the technicians at Velomax with an update. For whatever reason, the bearings had gone bad on the drive side. He did say that they have changed bearing manufacturers and he put two brand new sets of bearings in the wheel and the pop/creak went away. The wheel left Velomax yesterday on its way back to me.
