Has anyone here tried the new Flite TT? Is it similar inScott Rodman

feel to the old regular Flite. I tried the new SLR and hated it. It has no curvature or shape and feels like a 2x4 mounted to the seat post. Id like to try this new TT if its anything like the Flite Im sure I'll like it. Thanks.

Need a new saddle and am debating between SLR and Flite TT...Have used Flites, FLite Gel, Max Flites, and a Turbomatic 3. Flite and Flite Gel seem best to my butt so far. Would either a SLR or a Flite TT hold up under a 200 pounder or should I stick to the regular Flite>

I have been using the Flite tt for 3 months. I used the regular flite roughly 5 years ago. I have a wide ass and I think that this saddle is incredibly comfortable. I bought 3 of them. As for the slr, a friend has one at the local shop. I tried it and found it uncomfortable and very narrow.

...get the SLR as your primary saddle. I own an SLR and pull it out for fast rides and races only. It actually feel pretty good on a carbon post - the ti rails suck in a lot of road noise. But it's really just a weight-saver, you can get much more well-rounded saddles for the money. My fav is the Selle flite trans am, which you can steal at pricepoint.com right now.
is the TT........CT1

Is the TT the same width as the standard TA? Does the TT have a cutout??

Thanks

275mm x 139mm. Think about this, you only sit on a tiny bit of the saddle anyway so how could it feel narrow? It might be psychological? I sat on one and liked it a lot, firm seat, flatter than some saddles across the main part, light and looks good too.
I never said it felt narrow. Just no shape or curvature.Scott Rodman

The back is like the 4" part of a 2x4. I just love the nice curvature of the Flite and the SLR definitely does not have it. The Flite TT looks to be very similar. I have another SLR that has never been mounted for $85 shipped if anybody wants it. Just give me your email.
ditto on the SLR....CT1

That's a very narrow feeling saddle. I'd say it felt like the 2" part of a 2X4. The shape totally sucks the big one!

YMMV
