Bar wrap: Top to bottom? or bottom to top?J_Bravo

What is the best way to wrap? Start at the end and go to the middle working up? or the other way around? Are there advantages to each?

Thanks,
John

Have always seen it done bottom to top,it is easier to get the plug end correct and work your way up wrapping such that your grip on the bar will tighten the wrap.

Start at the plug and work your way to the middle. When riding the tops and hoods your natural tendency is to put pressure to the outside of the bars. Because the overlap of the wrap is going that direction (outside) your pressure is with the "grain" of the wrap, not against it. The wrap won't separate as easily that way.
