Just wondering how many of you have done this tour and what your thoughts were on it. Have been thinking about maybe giving this one a try next year.

I haven't done this yet, but may do this tour this coming July. I'm a member of Performance.com's Team. As a member, if I can get a team of 5 cyclists, the 6th one is free. Therefore, if there are anyone out there would like to do this tour, especially those who live in So Cal, please contact me at jkh168@hotmail.com. We all can save some $$$.

Thanks.

This is a great event, and just small enough that riders truly "bond" with each other, not so overwhelming a zoo as Ride the Rockies.

If you are coming from elsewhere just be forwarned that it is usually a somewhat aggressive mountain route... most days 80-100 and usually in the high country. Certainly doable but folks should be aware.

Also, high country riding can be treacherous due to weather. The last two years I think that there has been one afternoon of HORRIBLE sleety, cold t-storms. Decent rain gear and cool weather garb is a MUST.

You'll love it.
Thanks....BrianU

I have done the RAGBRAI (ride across IOWA) for the last two years. Its fun, but I would like to do something different and I happen to love Colorado. It sounds like just what I'm looking for.
