Would somebody please make a Medium Tall?(11 posts)

Would somebody please make a Medium Tall?Alex-in-Evanston

Pearl, Castelli, Voler, etc. do not size for the taller gent. If you want a 34 inseam, it comes with a 36 waist. If you want a jersey that doesn't bunch up in the pits, it's gonna be saggy in the belly.

I'm not freakishly built either. I'm just a little taller than avg. - 6'1 - and kind of skinny - 170. To fit into bike clothes made for my height I would need to gain 25 pounds. To fit into bike clothes sized to my waist I would need to lose 4 inches.

Alas,

I second the need for Tall clothes.

Thin, six footer here. My jerseys are too short and I can barely get the straps of my bib shorts over my shoulders.

You'd think the diet companies were lobying the clothing manufacturers to make the clothes smaller. :-)

I'm 6-5 with a 34 to 35 inch waist.

Pearl Izumi Thermafleece Bibs in XL fit fine, long enough and not baggy at all.

REI (rei.com) makes "Powerstretch" tights in Tall sizes, including medium. These are great for cross-country skiing and biking, and heavier than the Thermafleece.

Finally, boure.com offers custom tights. I haven't tried them.

castelli progetto bibs fit me fine. i'm 6'1" ,180 and a 33 waist. they seem to have a bit more material in the torso.
no pinching in the nether regions! i wear a large in the castelli, so a medium may be good for you. i know $130 is steep for a pair of bibs, but i bought one to try 'em and went back for two more! don't but verge! i have two pair of team bibs and can't wear either of them. they're too freaking short in the torso.

I've got a 33.5 inseam and weigh 145 and their Medium shorts are plenty long for me. I bet their Large shorts would work well for you. Same goes for their jerseys (you might want the XL there--I use their L). Hmmm, and I was getting ready to give Voler a try...

Large tops (PI, Castelli and Voler are about the same) and medium bottoms. Bibs are tight and shorts are short, but it beats a sagging waistband.

I should be a 6 footer, but legs are too short. I am 4 inches longer in the torso than the "average".

Thank GOD I married a tailor(ess), she just adds 4-6 inches of fabric from old bibs to the top of the bib loops.

Performance Gel bibs fit right with the extra strechy fabric, but that damn gel pad SUCKS!
why...so they can sell 2 of them to a freak like you (nm)Fed Up
