I had some big emotional trauma this past week, plus I've been recuperating from a little ice-related crash. Finally today, I could not stand NOT riding, so I went out in the rain on my trusty LeMond. I slayed a dragon (Madrona hill in Seattle, in the big ring all the way), rode down the Champs Elysses (OK, Broadway) and finished up with a lap around the park. Not a long ride, but just what I needed to clear the cobwebs.

Its amazing what you can overcome with good friends and a good bicycle. Just had to share. You can probably relate.

Ride on!

if feeling pent up and frustrated and ill at ease

f**k

if you cant do that

ride a bike

if you cant do that

gorge on fantastic food and wine

if you cant do that

choose tequila or vodka with other substances

and if you cant do that

opt for tv, sleep or porn.

sure there are other remedies but they all involve travel or lots of money or moving where you live.

thats why riding a bike is so good as its hard to get in trouble by doing too much or by changing bikes as often as we do. and the benefits are many and all positive.

ride on and on!

In all honesty, I did the first two on the list. :)
