|The most recent IF post and the rash of LS posts got me curious about current frame weights. Here are some from company web pages:
56 c-c Steelman SR 853: 3.5 pounds
56 c-c IF Crown Jewel: 3.57 pounds
57 c-t Litespeed Tuscany: 3.51 pounds
57 c-t Litespeed Classic: 3.5 pounds
57 c-t Litespeed Vortex: 3.2 pounds
Steelman and IF steel forks are about exactly half a pound heavier than the Reynolds Ouzo Pro carbon fork.

|if you go for the paint option, around .2lbs or so.
Doesn't seem like much, but it probably means alot to the weight dinkies who insist on the lightest possible frame.
btw - advertised weight for the plated, chromed, lugged and painted 55cm c-t Tommasini Techno Nemo frame only is a whopping 3.527lbs. It can me mailordered out of Europe for around $800 including Genius fork (1/4 the price of the Vortex). Too bad its so darn heavy. Seems like the best frames are also among the least expensive.

|3.527lbs! Jeez that's heavy. :)
btw, who in Europe sells those to US customers for $800 frame and fork? I assume this frame is considered one or two notches up (in price, anyway) from the Sintesi which Colorado Cyclist sells for $1000?
